What is the benefit of having my website + eCommerce + CRM + marketing + automation + social marketing + blog + event management + analytics - all in one place?

The benefits are vast. Firstly this keeps the costs down greatly, and secondly it saves a lot of time jumping from once system to the next, having to upload content and lists to create simple email campaigns. Most importantly it means that all information is in one place, so no need for more complex (or costly) integrations, and all imagery, customer info, lists, blogs are always at your finger tips.
Additional accounting software, external stock management (like Unleashed) and ERPs are generally the only systems we ever need to create integrations for, and these can be discussed individually.

Is eCommercePRO built on Shopify?

No! We have exhaustively tested the best modern eCommerce + website systems on the market, and we use the Oncord Website & Digital Marketing Platform as the power behin our eCommercePRO website package. The main reasons was that long term it was cheaper for our customers, it had more functionality (including Digital Marketing and Automation!), and wasn't reliant on plugins (that constantly need updates and can become costly).  Another reason was that Shopify (and many other eCommerce systems)  did an OK job of the eCommerce, but were really limiting when it came to creating a beautiful website design. Oncord has  one of the best and easiest to use interfaces around, and is very powerful and intuitive to use. Can I sell to any country around the world, in any currency?

Yes you can, but this included in the Core Package is the ability to sell within New Zealand and around the world, in one currency, and the overseas country will show an approximation of the cost in their local currency. There are many ways to sell around the world, and these options should be discussed with us, so we can help you decide the best way to go about it.

Can I trim down the features and save a few dollars?

The system comes with the Core Features, these are included by default and can not be excluded to lower the base price. Although the eCommerce Store comes feature packed, even without any additional add-ons, we don't expect everyone to use everything. These features are built in because you may need them in the near future, and some are have the ability to be added in the future - like email marketing and Automations.

Do you take a cut of our online sales?

Nope! eCommerce Websites doesn't take any cut from your online sales. However, your payment gateway or bank may charge a small fee to process payments. Speak to us for more information on this and the many ways to minimise the bank / payment gateway charges.

Is there a limit on the size of my customer or product databases?

No, there isn't. One of the huge benefits with our online store is you can add unlimited catalogues & products, and you can grow your customer (and any other) database to be as large as you require!

Where is the website hosted?

Our system is Software as a Service (SaaS), and is fast becoming the most popular way to ensure your site is; secure, backed up daily, upgraded and patched regularly. All the hosting requirements are in very good hands and you don't have to worry about the many hosting complexities, you can simply put your energy into selling and marketing you new online store, not having to worry about technical details, security and down time.  The hosting can be AU/NZ or US.

How do I collect payment on my new Store?

There are a number of ways you can collect payments on your online shop. You can use any of the existing payment gateways already supported, e.g. eWAY, WindCave, Stripe, PayPal and many more. Or you can opt to use the "Process Offline" method that captures payment details from customers and you can then process these manually using your existing point-of-sale (POS) system. You can also enable customers to choose to pay by Account and COD.

How long does it take to go live?

Generally we can be live with your new eCommercePRO website in under four weeks (from the Scoping Workshop). Most clients choose to add final content and products themselves (although we can help with this too), and generally this is the only thing that slows down the site going live. NB: We can help import product information from an Excel Spreadsheet (.CSV)  to help speed this up for you.

What about my existing product data and customer information?

eCommercePRO makes this easy. Simply export your customer data from your old website platform (e.g. Shopify, Woo Commerce, Magento etc) in an Excel spreadsheet format (.CSV). Then it's pretty easy to import into the new website data and map headings into their relevant fields.

What about my existing Search Engine rankings?

Once we are ready to go live, your new website will be very well optimised and ready to make any redirects directly within the new site. These are important, as these tell Google (and other search engines) what the new page URLs are now, and ensures no dead-end pages (called 404 pages).

What about support?

We are a New Zealand based team of experts, located in North Auckland. We work entirely from our office (not off-shore outsourcing!) and have been running eCommerce Websites Ltd since 2010, and we are part of the Fuel Design group (2002). We have a very good support ticketing service, and we are here to help you exceed online. There is also a four week go-live 'grace' period when the site first goes live - just to monitor how things are going.

Can I use my own web address?

Yes you must use your own web address, also called a URL or domain name. You may already have your website address (domain) or are looking for the right advice before you buy one.

Either way we will help you along the path, from buying your domain, domain emails, to the final go live and more!

Do I own the finished website?

Yes you do, but all functionality behind the site remains the property of eCommerce Websites Ltd & Oncord. This is the basis of Software as a Service (SaaS), and is partially why we are able to offer so much for so little, provide excellent security and speed.

You own the content of the website / customer databases / sales databases, all images and all statistical information and reports. The site may be on-sold if you have sold your business, but must be hosted with eCommerce Websites Ltd / Oncord. Anyone can be invited to work on your website and the files never need to be "moved".
